		  Romantic period.</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_"><p>Professor Bostetter joined the University of Washington faculty is
		  1940, having received his Ph.D. at Princeton in 1938; M.A., Princeton, 1937;
		  A.B., Franklin and Marshall, 1935. From 1959 until his death, 16 April 1973, he
		  served as Professor of English. He specialized in research on Coleridge, Byron,
