Originally called the Office of International Programs established in 1963 to coordinate and oversee the International Study Abroad programs. This program was reorganized in 1971 resulting in an apparent name change although the tasks of the office remained the same, coordinating programs with foreign student sponsoring agencies and universities. This program also appears to have encompassed NICSA (Northwest Interinstitutional Council on Study Abroad). The program underwent another reorganizing in the late 1980's resulting in the offices present day organization.
Box 1 contains administrative documents and forms, as well as International Program proposal documents. Box 2 contains International programs annual reports from 1986-1990, grant proposal documents, and committee documents from the Ad Hoc Planning and Advisory Committee. Box 3 contains program budget summaries and reports, program support grant applications, and grant application files from 1990-1991.
This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting performed by staff.
