			<p>The Consortium for International Development (CID) was a Virginia-based organization
				that supported developing countries by providing agricultural training programs at
				various, qualified U.S. institutions. They acted as a liasion for the Agency of
				International Development (now known as USAID) and the Office of International
				Training (OIT) to put potential students in contact with universities such as WSU.
				The CID's Western Regional office was located on the Washington State University
				Pullman Campus circa 1990-1992 in Hubert Hall. The Agricultural Training Program
				supported students from several developing countries such as Yemen, Egypt, Sri
				Lanka, and more. </p>

			<p>Primarily academic, budget, and administrative files related to the Consortium for
				International Development's (CID) Agriculture Training Program. Items mostly include
				files on prospective students, program extension proposals, receipts and budget
				proposals, and correspondence between prospective students and members of the
				consortium. </p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing
				order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting
				performed by staff. </p>
			<p>All boxes contain administrative notes and academic files related to the
				International Program's Agricultural Training Program. Boxes 1-19 contain academic
				files that are arranged alphabetically by student. Boxes 20-22 contain technical
				files related to prospective students and their development; organized by country
				and participant ID number. Boxes 23-26 contain financial reports and receipts and
				are in their original organization. Boxes 27-29 contain additional administrative
				and financial files and are organized by subject matter. </p>
