Longtime partners Alice Romero and Judith Prinz have been Seattle Storm fans and season tickets holder since the team’s inaugural season in 2000. They collected memorabilia and ephemera related to the Storm and other interests, including entertainment, sports, LGBTQ+ issues and events, and politics.
The bulk of the collection consists of Seattle Storm ephemera, including tickets, game programs and schedules, guest information guides, media guides, correspondence, memorabilia, and other ephemera from Storm games and promotions. These materials are arranged chronologically by season, for all seasons from 2000 through 2022, excluding 2014 and 2020.
The material related to LGBTQ+ issues and events is mostly ephemera such as tickets, stickers, a mailer, and newspapers, 2003-2018. It also includes twenty color snapshots (4 x 6 in.) of the 2003 Pride Parade in Seattle, and a DVD with scenes from the 1993 Pride Parade. Miscellaneous ephemera subjects include sports and speaker events, Seattle businesses, and emergency preparedness.

The Museum of History & Industry is the owner of the materials in the Sophie Frye Bass Library and makes available reproductions for research, publication, and other uses. Written permission must be obtained from MOHAI before any reproduction use. The museum does not necessarily hold copyright to all of the materials in the collections. In some cases, permission for use may require seeking additional authorization from the copyright owners.
The collection is open to the public by appointment.

Includes ephemera collected by the donors related to their attendance at Storm games, including tickets and ticket books; game program and schedules; guest information guides; souvenir collectibles; stickers; and other memorabilia. The material also includes some correspondence, media guides, and promotional materials. The 2006 folders include materials related to the sale of the Seattle Storm and Seattle SuperSonics teams, and the possible move of the teams out of Seattle.
The poster range in size from 11 x 17 in. to 30 x 12 in. Many of the posters include team photos or photos of individual players as well as game schedules.
The LGBTQ ephemera includes a promotional mailer for the Seattle Women's Chorus 2006 holiday concerts; ticket stubs from events by LGBTQ performers or with LGBTQ themes; stickers with rainbow iconography; and 20 color snapshots (4 x 6 in.) from the 2003 Seattle Pride Parade. A second folder includes newspaper articles about LGBTQ people, events, and issues, 2004-2016.
This DVD was copied from original amateur audiovisual footage taken at the 1993 Pride Parade in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. It includes the Dykes on Bikes opening the parade, a performance at a ball field by the Seattle Gay Men's Chorus, and other marchers and parade floats.
The miscellaneous ephemera includes tickets to sports and other events; a souvenir Seafair pirate trading card; stickers, tickets and business cards from Seattle businesses; a "Bring Back Our Sonics" sticker; postcards and fliers related to Sea-Tac Airport, human trafficking, Seattle Maritime Festival, Washington State Democrats, and emergency and Y2K preparedness; and a letter from Senator Henry M. Jackson (1973).
