      <p>Rosel Schwarzmann (1896-1990), photographer, was based in Mainz, Germany. She owned and operated her own photography studio on Schusterstrasse. She was educated at the Hoehere Toechterschule and later at the School of Arts and Crafts. From 1933 onwards, she was the main photographer for the Mainz City Theater.</p>
