Edward Barry Roberts (1900-1972) was a playwright and television writer. Roberts wrote scripts for Forsaking All Others (1934), The Silver Theatre (1950), and The Bigelow Theatre (1951). He taught television writing at the Yale School of Drama.
Collection contains scripts by Roberts and others for television series including “Bonanza,” “Armstrong Circle Theatre,” and “Playhouse 90”; the British version of the script for the motion picture War and Peace; publicity and reviews of “Blow-Up”; and material from the Yale School of Drama Conference on Drama and Television.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
