      <abstract encodinganalog="5203_">The Arnold H. Ehlers oral history transcript (1987-1988) consist of an interview with Ehlers conducted by Richard W. Jackson and P. Bradford Westwood of the James Moyle Oral History Program. Ehlers recalls taking over the architectural department of the LDS Church in 1951, the design and construction of Highland High School, the attitude of church authorities regarding architectue, and travel and work connected with the international meetinghouse building program of the LDS Church. He also discusses various architects, including Henry P. Fetzer, Bill Thomas, Paul Evans, Ted Pope, Harold Burton, Lorenzo S. Young, and other architects in the Don Carlos Young family.</abstract>
