         <p>Tape-recorded interview conducted by Leatrice Kraft on 9/16/86 and
		  10/9/86.</p>
         <p>Raida Singer shares recollections of her life, describing her
		  religious upbringing, schooling, and courtship with her husband. Mrs. Singer
		  discusses her husband's background, his schooling, and his decision to become a
		  Rabbi. After their marriage and posting to other pulpits, they came to Temple
		  de Hirsch where they remained for thirteen years. The major thrust of the
		  interview is the formation and establishment of Temple B'nai Torah as a viable
		  congregation in this area.</p>
