			<p>Brian T. Harvey (1944-2005) was a WSU English and History graduate. Professionally a
				software programmer, he was an amateur photographer working on his Masters in
				Anthropology when he was diagnosed with mesothelioma, after which he became an
				advocate against asbestos and for those similarly afflicted until his death. </p>

		<scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_" id="a3"> 
			<p>The collections consists of approximately 4800 photographic prints and slides, primarily dealing with
				the environment, often brides and dams. They date from 1975 to 1983, and are
				primarily, but not exclusively, form the northwest. Also included is a brief
				biographical file, and a page from the Congressional Record where he was honored in
				Congress by Patty Murray. </p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing
				order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting
				performed by staff. </p>
			<p>The materials are contained in six binders, with the three binders in box one being
				prints and associated negatives, and the three binders in box 2 containing slides.
				Materials are all dated and have at least brief label. </p>
