This collection contains images used in publications or presentations to publicize the USU Agriculture department and Utah Extension Programs. The images mostly come from USU photographers such as Nelson Wadsworth and Raymond W. Miller, as well as state and federal agencies such as the Soil Conservation Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the Forest Service, and the Utah Tourist and Publicity Council. The photos are of irrigation, agriculture, water reclamation, outdoor recreation, scenic views, agricultural research. Most lack a title, date, or photographer credit, and many have separated from papers with associated captions. The bulk of the collection is in black and white photographs, but also included are negatives, slides, transparencies, and some printed material.
These materials have been rehoused in acid free folders, but the original folder titles and general arrangement were retained. Folders have been arranged in alphabetical order by title/subject.
No restrictions on access, except: not available through interlibrary loan.
