Albert Hay Malotte (1895-1964) was a composer and concert organist in the United States and Europe. In 1927, he opened a school for theater organists in Los Angeles. With the advent of sound in motion pictures, he began composing music for films, including Dr. Cyclops and Enchanted Forest. His works include two ballets, Little Red Riding Hood and Carnival of Venice. Other choral works and songs include The Lord’s Prayer, Song of the Open Road, The Twenty-Third Psalm, and Sing a Song of Sixpence.

 Scope and Content

The collection contains sheet music by Malotte, a photograph of Malotte (1960), and a book, Music by Albert Hay Malotte (1974).
