         <p>This collection consists of papers and records of the Pullman Home Economics Association. It includes membership lists, newsletters, brochures, and event programs, and a poster from the association's 2009 anniversary celebration. The collection also contains a selection of material on the WSU Home Economics School, mostly concerned with its merger with the Agriculture program and the subsequent cuts in the program.</p>

         <p>The Washington State University College of Home Economics was founded in 1903. The Pullman Home Economics Association was formed in 1947 by a group of WSU Home Economics graduates. The organization went on to become a community club, raising money for student scholarships.</p>
