      <head>Biography of Ed Begley</head><p>Ed Begley was an actor on stage, radio, film, and television.  While in his teens, he began acting in radio and on the stage.  His radio work included "The Adventures of Charlie Chan."  On stage, he appeared in the Broadway productions of "Advise and Consent, "All My Sons," "All Summer Long," "Ankles Aweigh," and "Inherit the Wind."
  	    On television, he guest-starred in episodes of numerous series, including "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour," "Bonanza," "Burke's Law," "Cain's Hundred," "The Defenders," "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Dr. Kildare,"  "The F.B.I.," "The Fugitive," "Gunsmoke," "High Chapparal," "The Invaders,"  "The Lucy Show," "The Mod Squad," "My Three Sons," "The Name of the Game,"
  	    "Rawhide," "Target: Corruptors," "The Virginian," and "The Wild Wild West."  His films included "Billion Dollar Brain," "Boots Malone," "The Dunwich Horror," "Firecreek," "Hang 'Em High," "Odds Against Tomorrow," "The Oscar," "The Road to Sallina," "A Time to Sing," "The Violent Enemy," "Warning Shot," and "Wild in the Streets."  His children include actor Ed Begley, Jr.</p>
