Gregory Bader received his B.A. in Environmental Design from the University of Washington in 1975, and his M.Arch from Columbia University in 1980. As a student, he received the Floyd A. Naramore Fellowship, 1978-1979, and the Columbia University Scholarship, 1977-1979. Following graduation, he worked with New York architect Robert Stern and traveled in Europe and the United States after receiving the William Kinne Fellows Traveling Fellowship to England in 1980, and the William Kinne Fellows Traveling Fellowship to the Southeastern United States in 1982. He returned to Seattle and established his own firm as Bader Architecture in 1985. Projects from Bader Architecture have received the Seattle Times/AIA Home of the Month Award in 1992 and again in 2001. Bader Architecture was featured in Architectural Digest in July 2006.
