      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>During World War II, as many as 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry were placed in Internment camps as a result of Executive Order 9066. The Minidoka War Relocation Center was located 17 miles northeast of Twin Falls, Idaho and is now a National Historic Site. The internment camp was in operation from 1942-1945 and housed more than 9,000 Japanese Americans.</p>
