Lawrence Williams (1937-) is an author and environmentalist who served as a policy analyst and director of environmental organizations including the Sierra Club and the Oregon Environmental Council. Williams helped to found the Oregon Environmental Council and 1970, became the first Executive Director of the Oregon Environmental Council.

The Lawrence Williams papers document Williams work with the Oregon Environmental Council and the Sierra Club International Program. The collection contains subject files, digital media, publications, and scrapbook of clippings and other memorabilia, including letters from U.S. senators and U.S. representatives.
