His writings cover his life in Siberia, the Russian Revolution, Warsaw during World War II, living in Poland and Hannover after the War, and family history.

Witold Miller was born in Tomska, Russia on November 3rd, 1905. By the 1920s he was living in Poland. There he worked as a civil engineer and entrepreneur. During the Second World War he spent 10 months in a German concentration camp in Sachsenhausen. He stayed in Poland after the war, eventually moving to Western Germany. He continued to work as an engineer, and then as a symphony reporter. He retired in 1978. His wife was Maria Miller, born 1911, died 1987. He died in Hannover, Germany on Februrary 1st, 2004.

Materials include the memoir of Witold Miller, accompanying music, essays, and audio recordings. The memoir includes photographs, postcards, maps, and clippings from Miller's life in Russia, Poland, and Germany. His writings cover his life in Siberia, the Russian Revolution, Warsaw during World War II, living in Poland and Hannover after the War, and family history. The memoirs and essays have been organized and noted by his son Leopold Miller, who transferred the audio tapes to CDs. Almost the entire collection is in French, German, Polish, and Russian.
