Collection consists of twenty black and white photographic postcards (including some duplicates), circa 1874-1950, of places in Wallowa County, Oregon. A substantial number of the images depict scenes at Wallowa Lake. Among these is an image of a procession, probably during the reburial of the Nimiipuu (Nez Percé) leader tıwi·teq̉ıs, also known as Old Chief Joseph, at Wallowa Lake in 1926. Also included is a photograph of the gravesite. Other places depicted in the collection include Wallowa Falls, Imnaha Canyon, Horseshoe Lake, Aneroid Lake, and the Wallowa Mountains.
