The Seattle Rangers were a short-lived Seattle semi-professional football team. The initial coach, Mel McCain, previously played for the Seattle Ramblers whose name the Rangers used for one year. There was no other connection between the two teams. The club existed from 1966-1969. It had considerable financial difficulty and failed about the time the Continental Football League collapsed in 1969 or shortly after.
