			<p>In 1937, the Pullman Community Concert Association was founded. In 1969, it
				discontinued its affiliation with Community Concerts, Inc., and became the Pullman
				Concert Association, which was replaced by the WSU Pullman Artist Series in 1974.
				The name was changed to the Palouse Empire Concert Series in 1979, and the program
				was discontinued effective April 1981. </p>
			<p>The WSU Pullman Artist Series was run through the WSU Theatre Department program in
				partnership with the local community, and consisted of demonstrations, lectures, and
				performances. These programs were presented at WSU Pullman as well as in Moscow in
				cooperation with the University of Idaho.</p>
