Allen Yonge Flamenco Collection Yonge, Allen, 1940-2009 2009014 842 items 75 audio reels; 228 audio cassettes; 153 DATs; 386 digital files; photo-copies of Carnes tape notes. 1963-1990 Original unpublished and commercial flamenco recordings collected by Allen Yonge.

Allen Yonge was a Seattle-based sound engineer who specialized in flamenco music and performances. He recorded and collected recordings of flamenco performances both locally and abroad in the 1960's and 1970's. During this time, he also produced and narrated a weekly radio show for the non-commercial radio station KRAB-FM in Seattle.

The collection includes recordings made by Allen Yonge, Chris Carnes, and Carol Whitney, as well as commercial recordings.

Logsheets of recordings were completed by Jim Kuhn 2009-2012.
