Album containing 47 black and white photographs, circa 1912-1913, of logging and sawmill operations from tree to board at two Oregon companies. Printed in gold on the front of the album are the words "Pacific Coast Logging and Lumber Views / From Operations of Big Creek Logging Co., Knappa, Ore. / Crossett Western Lumber Co. / Wauna, Oregon." The photographs, taken by George M. Weister of Portland, Oregon, include forest scenes; various steps in the logging process; loggers and camps; transportation of logs by train and river; and mills, the milling process, and lumber.
