      <p>Collection consists of black and white photographs, 1913, depicting a group of early emigrants to Oregon on a tour of pioneer landmarks in the Pacific Northwest, including graveyards, residences and battle sites. Each photograph has an extensive handwritten description on the back, including the names of people in the images. Those identified include John Miller Murphy, Thomas Prather, George H. Himes, Allen Weir, William H. Mitchell, Scott Shaser, W. J. Bowan, W. P. Harrington, Charles H. Ross, Calvin S. Barlow, George Stout and Van Ogle.</p>
