William Verne Athanas wrote novels and short stories in the western genre. His short stories were frequently published in the Saturday Evening Post, Colliers, Country Gentleman, and Argosy. He wrote three novels, of which one was adapted into a movie.
Collection contains one manuscript written by Athanas titled Night Marshall.
