      <p>In this collection are 32 photographs depicting the camps, people, and work of those in the early Civilian Conservation Corps in Idaho.</p>
    </scopecontent>
    <bioghist encodinganalog="545">
      <p>The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was founded in 1933 by President Theodore Roosevelt, as an executive order. There are CCC camps in 48 out 50 states, and those involved spent their days building camps, fire watch towers, and roads, planting trees and fighting fires.</p>
