Dixie Caton was secretary to Burton K. Wheeler from 1967-1975.
Photocopy of a typewritten reminiscence written by Dixie Caton. Caton's reminiscence
includes information on the ex-senator's failing eyesight in his final years and trips to
the Wheeler summer home at Glacier National Park and other places in Montana and
California.
This collection is open for research.
Reminiscence of Mary G. "Dixie" Caton was written by her on request of Edward Wheeler,
Washington, D. C. in July 1992. Wheeler donated a photocopy of the document to Special
Collections in August 1992.
