<head>Biographical Sketch</head>
<p>Wick Miller (1932-1994) was an anthropological linguist and pioneer in language acquisition studies. He received an A.B. in Anthropology from the University of New Mexico in 1953 and a Ph.D in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1963. He joined the faculty of the University of Utah department of Anthropology in 1963, and remained there until his death in 1994.</p>
