      <p>LDS Church leader and polygamist Hiram Clawson pursued many careers during his life in Utah. He acted as clerk to Brigham Young in charge of all of Young's private business dealings, was active in Utah dramatics, serving as manager of the Salt Lake Theater, was director of ZCMI, and was treasurer of Salt Lake City. His collection includes portraits of himself, his family, church leaders, and scenes of Salt Lake City, circa 1880.</p>
