         <p>Rabbi Bernie Fox was born in Pittsburgh and came to Seattle in 1980 to
		  teach at the Northwest Yeshiva High School. He served as headmaster of the
		  school from 1985-2016.</p>

         <p>Oral history interview conducted in 2003 with Jerry Adatto. Rabbi Fox
		  speaks of his perceptions of the Seattle Jewish community upon moving here in
		  1980, the history of the Northwest Yeshiva High School, and issues he's
		  encountered as teacher and administrator of an orthodox Jewish school,
		  particularly integration of girls in Torah courses. Also includes notes from
		  Jerry Adatto's conversations with David Oppenheimer, David Balint, A.J. Maimon,
		  and Rabbi Daniel Rosenthal to prepare for his interview with Rabbi Fox.</p>
