      <head>Biographical Note:</head>
      <p>Graduating with a master's degree in personnel guidance from Oregon
		  State College in 1948, Leone Johnson served as Memorial Union Program
		  Consultant from 1948 to 1964. She also worked as Executive Secretary for the
		  campus YMCA-YWCA Roundtable from 1943 to 1948.</p>

    <scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_">
      <p>This collection consists of correspondence and pages from a dissembled
		  scrapbook compiled by alumna and Memorial Union Program Consultant Leone Sands
		  Johnson.</p>
      <p>The majority of the correspondence was written by Johnson's aunts Bess
		  Coppes MacKay and Ida Leiter; most pertains to Ida’s illness, death, and the
		  settling of her will.</p>
      <p>Comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, and greeting cards, the
		  scrapbook pages also include a Christmas poem received from friends and a
		  graduation announcement. The images depict Johnson at home with her husband,
		  attending social events, and examining an exhibit of locally collected
		  artifacts at a show in the Memorial Union. Other people featured in the
		  photographs include Norma Pritchett, Mrs. Tommy Prothro, Mrs. Austin Walter,
		  and students Charlie Dunn and Jan Anderson.</p>
