History of J.G. White Engineering Corporation (New York)

J.G. White Engineering was among the first American companies to take international contracts. The company built damns, bridges, power plants, and irrigation works, as well as buildings. Founded in 1890, it began working with the United States Army in 1941 to build necessary infrastructure in North Africa. After World War II the company continued to expand. J.G. White worked in civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and industrial engineering projects throughout most of the developing world. Albert H. Incledon became president of the company in 1965 and guided it until his retirement in about 1983.
