      <head>Biographical Note</head>
<p>Lloyd Peters was interested in the acting profession at an early age. When film actress
Nell Shipman set up an on-location filming site at Priest Lake, ID, Peters worked for her
company as a set-builder and character actor. He also worked for Playter Studios, a motion
picture company that was located in Hillyard from 1918 to 1923. Although Peters did not
follow acting as his life’s work, he recalled his film experience in a book entitled,
          <title>Lionhead Lodge</title> (1967).</p>
