The Iron Goat Trail is an ongoing project organized by the Volunteers for Outdoor Washington to construct a hiking trail along the original route of the Great Northern Railway. A documentary entitled, "Back to Life: The Iron Goat Trail," details the history of the Great Northern Railway, including the 1910 avalanche at Wellington, and the recent efforts of volunteers to restore and preserve the route. The principle videographer was Diane Wilmar and John De Graf served as the documentary's producer.
