			<p>The Lapwai Mission press, operated by the Spalding mission at Lapwai, Idaho, was the
				first printing press in the Pacific Northwest, used from 1839 to 1845 to print texts
				supporting the activities of the mission.</p>

				documents used during processing.</p>
