      <p>The Markham family histories (1988) were compiled by Lucretia Markham Jones and contain pedigree charts and family group sheets for the Stephen Markham and Mary Curtis family, and the Joseph Randall Patterson and Agnes Measom family. Included is a personal account and life sketch by C. Julina Markham Crow of her father Stephen Markham (1800-1878).  This family history contains other accounts regarding Stephen Markham by Verda Kitchen, John H. Hayes, and George A. Hicks.</p>
      <p>Included is an article, "Julie, the Indian Girl" by Rose Ellen Patterson Markham. Another article included is entitled, "What I Do and Do Not Know About Stephen Markham's First Wife Hannah Hogaboon Who Went to California with Her Three Sons," by Lucretia Markham Jones.</p>
      <p>There are also transcribed letters and photocopied articles and photographs.</p>
