Henry Winslow Corbett (1827-1903) was a Republican senator and merchant from Oregon and known for his interest in banking, railroading, building, and investments.
Henry Failing (1834–1898) was a banker, businessmen and Republican politician who served three terms as Portland's mayor. Brother-in-law and business partner of Henry Winslow Corbett.
