		  artwork, films, and historical materials for a children's theater in
		  Seattle</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_" id="a2"><p>Long-running children's theatre company in Seattle, Washington. In
		  1939, the Seattle Junior League, which had been touring an annual play to the
		  public schools for years, joined with two Seattle women to form Seattle Junior
		  Programs, Inc. It continued to operate under various names between 1939-1984.
		  By the end of the 1970s the name had been changed to Seattle Junior Theatre. In
		  1984, it merged with the Young ACT Company, a division of A Contemporary
		  Theatre (ACT).</p></bioghist><scopecontent><p>Photographs, artwork, films, and historical materials from the Seattle
