Charles Stimson "Stim" Bullitt was born in 1919, the oldest of three
children of Dorothy Stimson Bullitt and Alexander Scott Bullitt. He attended
Yale University and the University of Washington Law School, and was admitted
to the Washington State Bar in 1949. He served in the Navy during World War II
and won a Purple Heart. He served as President of the Bullitt Company,
1955-1965, and of the family's business, KING Broadcasting Co., in 1961-1971.
He was president of Harbor Properties in Seattle in 1972-1996, and chaired its
board in 1996-2001. Stim Bullitt passed away on April 19, 2009 at the age of
89.

Priscilla "Patsy" Bullitt Collins (1920-2003) was the middle of the
Bullitt siblings, known for her liberal political views and extensive record of
civic involvement. With her sister, Harriet, she owned the King Broadcasting
Company from 1989 to 1991. She restored and preserved the Stimson-Green mansion
on Seattle's First Hill, and contributed to the Bullitt Foundation endowment
for environmental and educational causes. Other charitable causes included the
Seattle Public Library Foundation, the Puget Sound Environmental Learning
Center (now IslandWood), the Cascades Conservation Partnership, and funds for
schools in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Harriet Overton Bullitt (1924-), the youngest child of Scott and
Dorothy Bullitt, founded Pacific Search magazine (later Pacific Northwest) and
ran it for 25 years. In the 1990s, she started Sleeping Lady Conference and
Retreat Center near Leavenworth, and a radio broadcasting company with stations
in Chelan and Leavenworth. In addition to being associated with numerous
conservation causes, she serves on boards that include the Bullitt Foundation,
Icicle Creek Music Center, and the National Audubon Society.

Katharine "Kay" Muller Bullitt (1925-) was married to Stimson Bullitt
and is the mother of Dorothy C. Bullitt. Education was one of her many
political and charitable interests. She founded Initiatives in Public Education
(PIPE), chaired the Bedouin Early Education Project, and helped organize
Seattle's Coalition for Quality Integrated Education.

Dorothy C. Bullitt (1955-) is a lawyer and author of Filling the Void:
Six Steps from Loss to Fulfillment and (with Jim Wickwire) Addicted to Danger:
a Memoir. She is an executive director of Habitat for Humanity, and chaired
Washington State's Rhodes Scholar Selection Committee. She serves on many
civic, charitable, business and academic boards.
