Paul J. Keller (1902-1976) was a staff artist for the Oregon Journal newspaper in Portland. He was widely known for his Oregon vignettes, a series of 218 sketches that appeared as Sunday features in the Journal.

The Paul Keller collections includes 11 of the 22 "Old Oregon Vignettes" lithographs produced by Meier and Frank in 1959 after originals drawn by Keller in the 1930s; an ink and crayon sketch of the Patton house in Portland, Oregon, 1937, 20 x 25.7 cm; a pen and ink sketch of Portland Mayor Robert Earl Riley, 1945, 24.4 x 32 cm; and pen and ink sketches for use in the publication Stars of Oregon, 1943, primarily depicting ships.
