The first Take Back the Night Rally and March at Washington State University was
sponsored by the Women’s Center and Pullman N.O.W., and took place on Monday,
October 17th 1983, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Adams Mall parking lot. They have
taken place annually since, with sponsorship moving among several campus
organizations, including the YWCA.

The 2023 march took place on April 6, 2023 at 5 pm, starting at Todd Hall. The walk
moved to Thatuna street, then Linden, Monroe, California, B, and ended at Colorado
St., running about 1.2 miles and about a half hour. It was sponsored by the Women’s
Center and the Coalition for Women Students (CWS).
