Luther Harris was vice-president of Pennsylvania-Central Airlines Corporation. He learned to fly in the U.S. Army Air Service (1917), worked for the National Air Transport Inc. (1927-1929), Trans-Continental Air Transport, and Ludington Air Lines. He became vice-president in charge of engineering and maintenance of Pennsylvania-Central Airlines Corp in 1935.
This collection contains newspaper and magazine clippings about Luther Harris and his career; pamphlets published by National Aeronautics Association; first day issue stamps for the 50th anniversary of U.S. Air Mail Service 1918-1968; various photographs; and other miscellaneous documents related to aviation.
