Norman D. Salisbury was born in Oregon in 1892. He married Eliza H. Salisbury and had 3 children, Norman J. and Kathrine, and Clark Salisbury while working for the First Security Banking Corporation in Preston Idaho. In 1928, he was transferred to the newly
acquired Logan Utah branch. While in Logan, Mr. Salisbury was actively involved in the L.D.S. Church. Soon after his arrival in Cache Valley, he served as president of the Logan LDS stake, continuing to do so until 1936. He eventually became manager of the
Logan branch and became increasingly involved in the community, working frequently with local schools and businesses, in particular, with the Utah State Agricultural College.
