The company farmed 1200 acres at this location until its collapse in 1927. The town of Orenco, founded in 1908, derived its name from the company's. Collection includes correspondence; demonstration planting records, especially regarding the Perfection Apricot; financial records; and an Orenco Mercantile Co. ledger.</abstract>
