      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>Fort George Wright was established by the U.S. Army in 1899 and
		  operated until 1958. The Fort Wright College Historical Museum was organized in
		  1964 to “collect, preserve, and display material relating to the military
		  occupancy of the Fort.” Due to financial difficulty, the Museum was forced to
		  close in 1983. Collections from the Museum were transferred to appropriate
		  historical societies throughout the Pacific Northwest.</p>

		  College Historical Museum, including accession records, 1964-1983;
