Hezekiah Sumner Hatch was born February 8, 1886 in Logan, Utah the son of Hezekiah Eastman Hatch and Georgia Thatcher Hatch. In 1902, Hatch enrolled in the Brigham Young College at Logan and graduated in 1905. Later that year, Hatch was called to serve as a missionary in Great Britain by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He proselyted in the Hull and York areas of Great Britain for two years. After returning home to Logan from his mission, Hatch established the Hatch Insurance Agency where he worked for the remainder of his life. On June 30, 1909, Hatch married Olive Baker in the Logan Temple. They later had four children: Alice Fay (1911), Marjorie Olive (1914), Mary Frances (1916), and Hezekiah Sumner (1918). Hatch died of complications from the Spanish Flu in Logan at the age of thirty-three on April 15, 1919.

Olive Baker Hatch was born July 10, 1885 in Mendon, Utah the daughter of George Washington Baker and Agnes Richards Baker. Hatch received her basic education from the New Jersey Academy and the Brigham Young College, both of Logan, Utah. After graduating from the BYC in 1905, she enrolled in the Agricultural College of Utah (now Utah State University) and studied to become a teacher. After graduating from college, she found employment as a schoolteacher and taught at Logan, Brigham City, and Salt Lake City, Utah. Hatch later met Hezekiah Sumner Hatch, who she married on June 30, 1909 in Logan. After the death of her husband in 1919, Hatch remained in Logan until 1926 when she moved to Hollywood, California to live with her mother and brother's family. She died September 22, 1964 in Hollywood, California.

Alice Fay Hatch was born May 22, 1911 in Logan, Utah the daughter of Hezekiah Sumner Hatch and Olive Baker Hatch. Hatch attended the commons schools of the Logan area before moving with her mother to Hollywood, California in 1926. Hatch graduated from Fairfax High School in 1928. After graduating, Hatch found work as a stenographer at the Hollywood State Bank. One year later she took a position at the Bank of America in Los Angeles, California and worked as an escrow officer until 1939. She was the first female officer in this Los Angeles bank's main office. During this time, she enrolled in the American Institute of Banking, Los Angeles and later received a graduate certificate. In 1942, Hatch became the secretary of entrepreneur C.E. Toberman, who was involved in banking, real estate, construction, and other such business ventures. She worked for Toberman until her retirement. Hatch died during the 1990s.
