The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is a sovereign nation governed by a 14-person board of adult Colville tribal members officially titled the Colville Business Council and informally called the tribal council. This collection contains minutes, resolutions, ordinances and official statements of the Business Council, 1963-1971, and other printed and manuscript materials, especially relating to the termination of federal supervision of the tribes, 1954-1970.
