      <p>Edward Burns Quigley (1894-1984) was a Western artist and sculptor. He painted murals for Irvington School and Wanapum Dam. He also served as a sergeant in the American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I. In 1984, he received the Cowboy Hall of Fame Trustees Award.</p>

Infantry; posters and paintings, 1927-1941, including a poster for the Pacific International Livestock Exposition, among other advertisements and western-themed paintings; scrapbooks, 2 volumes, 1934-1984, containing newspaper and magazine articles regarding Quigley and his work; first draft layout of Carl Gohs' book "Ed Quigley, Western Artist" 163 pages, 1971; and six reproductions of pencil sketches of Oregon scenery, 1967.</p>
