This collection consists of the manuscript component to the University of Utah Archives photograph collection. The documents index various aspects of buildings on the University of Utah campus and other manuscript materials that accompanied the photograph component.

Historical Note
Many of the building on the University of Utah campus were constructed between 1960 and 1980. The manuscripts in this collection document information relating to their construction.
The University of Utah Archives collection has been compiled from a variety of sources: donations from the various colleges, schools, and departments; from private individuals; from the Utonian yearbooks; and other sources. It consists of approximately 250,000 images representing most photographic formats. Items are still being added to the collection on a regular basis. Documents in this collection consist of contact sheets, blue prints, and correspondence relating to the construction of certain buildings on the University of Utah campus.
The collection is arranged first, with general buildings in alphabetical order followed by art documents collected and records from the National Collegiate Athletic Association National Youth Sports Program.
Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this Collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances.
Permission to publish material from the University of Utah Archives records must be obtained from the Special Collections Manuscript Curator.
