			<p>Sue Brush grew up in Toledo, OH, and began her career in the hotel industry there. In
				the early 1970s she relocated to Seattle, working as the public relations manager
				for the Olympic Hotel. In the late 1980s, she became director of corporate
				communications for Westin Hotels and Resorts, remaining with the company as a senior
				executive responsible for the Westin brand, continuing in that role after the
				company was purchased by Starwood Hotels and Resorts. She retired in 2009.</p>

			<p>This collection consists of papers related to hotel industry executive Sue Brush's
				career with Westin Hotels and Resorts. It includes speeches, materials related to
				branding and marketing, advertising, corporate history, leadership training, annual
				conferences, and hotel properties and amenities, as well as a small amount of
				realia. Formats include paper documents (published and unpublished) and video
				recordings (VHS and DVD).</p>
