Marvin Hutchings Strong (1899-1987) was a member of the U. S. Coast Artillery Band from 1917 to 1920 and served as a music teacher in various Utah school districts. He also organized and directed several youth and senior bands throughout his life.

The Marvin H. Strong photograph collection contains 11 black and white photographs taken between 1924 and 1977.
